Travel-thon! (Now through Mid-August)

July 16th, 2010 | Permalink to Post

Hum…looks a bit crazy now that we lay it all out like this, but SUPER STOKED to get to roam about the country these next few weeks! We’ll be headed on the road for a few weddings, and stopping to hang out with people in between. Shoot us an email if you’re in the same area at the same time and maybe we can hang out and have some coffee. (Or picture your faces!)

Also, a quick mention, Seattle is still in the works and will definitely happen, but may be a following weekend, however, we’ll keep you updated!

We should have email-ability most places, but want to let everyone know it’s probably going to get super sparse while we’re plorking (play/working) in the Virgin Islands. When we do find civilization, we will definitely try our best to stay on top of responding. (Just may be a bit of a delay.) We have high hopes of blogging along the way, but we will be at the mercy of a wifi signal. ;-) (If you’re thinking of inquiring about a wedding, please continue to do so as we try to respect those that ask first when there is a popular date.)

Want to give a quick shout-out to Jamie’s illustratory skillz for making the map above. She started out as our “intern” but has become so much more; someday we’ll invent a proper title. We wouldn’t be able to go where we’re headed without her beside us-doodling as we skip along.

Happy July-ing, all, and hope to slap some hands for a high-five along the way. :) (Speaking of, we high-fived a lot of naked bicycle riders a few weeks ago, but that’s for another post…)

How did The Joel get rocket launcher shoes while Mary got stuck with roller skates?

Wedding . Sarah + Justin

Backyard wedding in Prairie Village, KS,  lots of sparklers, good wine, lovely music, and a few of your closest friends. Such a beautifully simple way to enjoy getting married to your best friend. Hope you enjoy getting to know them; there are quite a few images to meander through.

Great story. Told in a way that drags you under the water and refuses to let go until you’re finished with it.

Meet : Alex & Danny, Lovely Bostonians

Alex and Danny are awesome and I’m pretty sure they’ll be moving out to Portland in the near(ish) future. (Much like anyone that comes out here to visit! ;-)Alex has her own photography biz and also plays camera on people. We were so excited to get the chance to have a coffee, talk shop, and run around Mississippi Street in the drizzle. Can’t wait for them to come back and visit (and/or help them move…)! Hope you enjoy a few of these informal pics, and our simplified blog format.

Your editing and the hazy window reflections are off the hook.
