A new iPhone-only section of “not weddings” filled with images we deemed worthy of pausing to snag, so thought we’d share. This will be a frequently updated/changing gallery, and will feature good (and bad) images snagged on the fly. We use our phones as a visual diary more than actual phones, so seems fitting; if there was a 100 min monthly phone plan, we’d have that.

Let us know if you’d prefer captions to these, and we’ll thumb wrestle as to who gets that task; although I think the unknown context makes some of them better. (Like the popsicle-hoarding children in the triangle!?! I’m not even sure we know where we found that.) Hope you enjoy!

About a dozen sleep-deprived wine-makers, grape-sorters, grape-smashers, barrel-fillers, and floor-washers hustled from task to task. (Almost without speaking as they have it down at this point.) Upbeat jazz rattled over the speakers, and the dumpsters were filled with two things: steaming grape skins, and pizza boxes. It stirred up the curiosity of the five-year-olds in us, and I hope that next time we’re invited to just sort out grape stems, as it seemed relaxing in a methodical/time to space out kind of way.

Hope you enjoy some of the pics from the Antica Terra-ians. They’re having a Memorial Day tasting in their barrel room sometime that weekend; a nice escape out in Dundee if you want to breath in some wine valley air. Or if you just want to go see some of these guys in real life without grape-stained hands.
