Edited Image Comparison

As there are many different ways an image can be finished in this fancy pants, digital era, wanted to provide a little clarification as to the different types/stages of editing an image can go through. We’ve spent years finding a balance between honest, documentary work, and fine-tuned editing techniques. We’re almost annoyingly perfectionist making sure the sense of color, light, and style we bring to each image is a good fit. We love providing vintage/vibrant image processing to our clients, but also want to explain that not every final image will be edited in this manner. Also-some images in the online gallery will be edited in black and white, but we keep the originals and are happy to provide them in color if you’d like. (We select which images we think tell the story best in black and white, based on lighting, environment, and subject matter.)

Proofbooks

Our thumbnail proof books are hard cover, linen, and include one image we select for the front. Colors vary depending on what coordinates with the wedding and main cover image. These vary in page numbers, but are no less than 20 and enough to include all images from an engagement session or event.
