When they first wrote us, they sent over this: “We’re both from the east coast. We both love cake. We live in a little blue house in Seattle. Chris can create a mean pintxo, even thought he’s Croatian. Shanti cans jams like theres no tomorrow.” We adore these details of everyday life, as in just a few sentences, we were able to get a feel for them and knew their day would be a story. More gushing could be done, but I think you’re here for the pictures.

Been a bit of radio silence on the blog, but all for the sake of crazy production work. (AKA our own little sweat shop. We’ve been putting in 80 hour weeks and couch naps where we can during the holiday season. Besides a little bit of tumblr-ing, had to just put the blinders on and keep our heads down. But our eyes are regaining their feeling, and things are falling into place.

We’re headed on a logistical road-trip down to California for a couple of weeks, and will share more once we are doing things other than watching the weather through the Siskiyou Pass. (daunting!) If we’re working on a project of yours right now, we’re taking it with and so excited to wrap it up to share! If you’re curious about working with us in the future – would love to hear from you as we’ll still have email via our phones.

There is much ahead: white dresses, wine-making, images from NYC, video shorts, excitement, a field, web-doings, and good people throughout.

Exhausted, yet Enthusiastically Yours – Mary & The Joel

Here we are. In all of our post-wedding, exhaustion glory. Finishing up the season with beer and pizza; appropriately us. If you need us, we’ll be playing with our pixels, locked-up in a room with no sunlight between now and Christmas.

We’ll be coast-hopping this week for an exciting last-minute assignment in Brooklyn. Hence, if you get emails and galleries at 3 am between now and then, consider that normal.
