We are unsure as to what parents feel like when their kids start walking, graduate from high school, get hitched, and the like. But if we had a virtual child, this site would be it. We have cuddled it, disciplined it (anyone out there please protest Internet Explorer by never opening it again) Taken it out for ice cream, bought it it’s first beer, and were disappointed when we thought it was all grown-up but then came back home to live in our basement.

Why another site? Because we are going to be launching a design site very similar to this, as well, giving them each their own room to play and this site will be all bloggy goodness. Mary had to stop herself at every corner not to smear textures, colors, and the like on this new site. We even limited her to one typeface, however we think the outcome is so comforting for us to look at and hope you get some enjoyment, as well. We made this to really strip down our work to where it’s just the work you’re seeing. We’ve been to hundreds of sites on a weekly basis and quite honestly, get overwhelmed. We wanted to create something with your e-sanity in mind, and our work represented as it is. Honest and simple.

Feel free to head over and check it out! We would also love any feedback you have as comments so that we can continue to adapt this for you’re eyeballs viewing pleasure. (It’s even I-Phone-able! Even though we aren’t…;-)

Many thanks to all of those that have helped with your valuable feedback with the beta version of our little sleep-deprivation, DIY website project. Also, many thanks to @katieom (twitter!) for being the “wind in our sails” to get this thing going. She’s an amazing marketing gal and anyone working 70 hours a week, ignoring your personal life, possibly not showering for three days, and thinking small business is just that way-needs to get a hold of her! More on that to come later, but just wanted to thank everyone, and oh-and Jeremy Wilson for troubleshooting our mistakes.
