WHAT : A fully restored, vintage airstream trailer that they pimp out as a bar serving tasty margaritas, beers, and more at weddings, parties, photo shoots, place to get ready in the middle-of-nowhere, etc. They bring the party to where you or your event are and set everything up for you.
WHO : Deanna & Cory (They’re kinda super awesome, like their mimosas with a splash of OJ, and have a pet gecko.)
WHY : Deanna had gotten the airstream to go camping with her kids a few years ago. After a long day at work, she called up her man, Cory, and said, “Hey, let’s invite our friends over and have a happy hour after work today!” When she came home, he had it all decked out and greeted her shaking a martini maker. What better way to birth a bar? From there, it’s grown organically and in a way that allows clients to pretty much customize what they’d like the Tin Cantina to provide for their event.
After meeting them at Katie + Jesse’s wedding, we demanded to hang out more, and had such a laugh-filled morning with them. We kinda wanted to say, “Whoops. Lost those pictures. Have to have a do-over…maybe have some margaritas this time?”
WHERE : Portland, Oregon and surrounding area. Check out their (soon-to-be evolving) site at TinCantina.com or contact them directly via tincantina@gmail.com and e-stalk them freely on Twitter : @tin_cantina
THANKS : You’ll notice a few extra hands and a blurred out Jamie in the background in a few of these pictures. She’s also the hand behind the sketchings; so excited about her moving out here! Skype has been kind, but just a few more weeks and we’ll have our very own, Oregonian mail-order, design ninja. Yay!
THE STOP MOTION: We played around with some stop motion fun. It’s just about a minute long, still needs a few seconds lopped off the end, and includes a cat dance party.

Great! I’ve got to get one of these some day, and car to pull it…
